TFW Training Guidelines 2021

  • Please read this document carefully and ensure you understand these procedures

Attendance Guidelines:

  1. Arrive On-Time: late entries are disruptive and may delay other people's training. Doors lock promptly at two minutes after class begins, so please be on-time out of respect for your coaches and training partners.

  2. All cancellations should take place at least 3 hours in advance of class time. Cancelling your spot less than an hour before class begins does not give us enough time to notify the next person on the waitlist.

  3. Failure to show up for your reserved class without notification will result in a 7 day suspension from in-person training.

  4. Pre-Registration for Weight-lifting and Heavy Bag Training

  • Members must sign-up for all lifting sessions through our registration platform.

  • If you do not want to train with a partner, you must request a heavy bag for any Kickboxing Fundamentals or Focus Mitts/Thai Pad class

  • There are limited slots available.

No Pre-Registration is Required For:

  • Conditioning

  • Kickboxing Fundamentals

  • Focus Mitts / Thai Pads (as long as you will train with a partner)

  • Grappling

  • Kali

To sign-up for in-person training (for Current TFW Members):

  1. Create an account with SuperSaas.com

  2. Request an available space in any TFW class here

  3. Your request will be pending until email confirmation by TFW staff

  4. You may register for up to 12 classes per week.

  5. You may register for up to 2 class per day.

  6. Wait for email confirmation before coming to the gym for class.

  7. If you are unable to make your class, please email the gym as soon as possible so that another student may take your place. 

    • All cancellations should take place at least 3 hours in advance of class time. 

    • Failure to show up for your reserved class without notification will result in a 30 day suspension from in-person training. 

Required Safety Protocols

Training Gear - Students must bring the following with them to class

  • A face mask

  • A water bottle

  • A towel for sweat

  • Boxing gloves for any kickboxing classes

  • Failure to bring any of these items will prohibit you from training

Arrival For Class

  • Masks must be worn at all times inside by anyone who is not vaccinated against Covid-19

  • Arrive 5-15 minutes before your class begins. 

  • Wait outside of the front door, maintaining 6 feet of social distance. 

  • The front door will be locked during class time. 

  • No late arrivals. It is disruptive and disrespectful to arrive late to any martial arts facility

  • Upon entry, use provided hand sanitizer. 

  • If you feel ill, have a temperature over 99.5 degrees, or have been exposed to anyone showing Covid19 symptoms, please do not come in for training

During and After Class Protocols

  • Face masks are required for any non-vaccinated member

  • Students must use their own gear, such as boxing gloves, during workouts. 

  • Wash hands after training

  • All equipment will be regularly sanitized. 

  • Promptly exit after training and maintain social distancing.

Other Important Updates:

  • Monthly tuition must be current and paid online to register for in-person training

  • No guests or spectators will be allowed in the gym.
